FM 98.5 CKWR - Sounds Like Home



 

Greetings Listeners  

As the Region’s #1 Community Station and as Canada's First Community Radio Station, FM 98.5 CKWR is a not-for-profit community radio station serving Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph and area for 35 years. 

Part of our mandate is to provide community access to the radio station and its programming. Our station lives this mandate by speaking to and reflecting our community, with over 40 volunteers who host, on a weekly basis, a total of 22 multilingual and 14 specialty shows. FM 98.5 CKWR is also the home for the Greatest Music of All Time with Bob Dearborn, Fred Merritt and Vic Folliott. 

We are asking our valued supporters, like you, to help us raise the funds needed to purchase an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), upgrade our broadcasting equipment and   improve air quality.
