The Croatian language is a South Slavic language spoken primarily by the inhabitants of Croatia and Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina and other parts of the Croatian diaspora. The country has a long musical tradition and this is reflected in the show’s line-up of music. Plus, there’s local community news, as well as news and information from the homeland. The Croatian program also lends a helping hand to less fortunate individuals. One of FM 98.5 CKWR’s oldest programs, it has been produced by Ivan and Kathy Radisic since 1973, with the help of their children, Bozana and Edy, and their respective spouses.
