Peter Etril Snyder
Most people in Waterloo Region know Peter Etril Snyder as one of the finest artists this area has ever produced. Known locally, nationally and now internationally for his Waterloo County works, Peter has developed a terrific reputation as one of the premier interpreters of our local Mennonite culture.
But there’s another side of Peter that many don’t know. He is a true humanitarian who has given both his time and money to organizations and institutions that he believes in, including the local chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Association and Grand River Hospital.Over the past few years, Peter has monitored closely the development of our radio station. He likes what he hears and admires our commitment to serving the communities and cultures that we broadcast to. In short, he considers FM 98.5 CKWR a very special radio station.
That’s why Peter has donated the beautiful limited edition print that is now proudly displayed on the wall behind our front reception desk.
It’s a great feeling knowing that someone like Peter Etril Snyder believes so positively and completely in what we do.
